Nico is a 3yr. old gelding. He is from wonderful lines. His sire is a very accomplished dressage stallion from Iron Spring Farm.
Nico is still growing. Should finish around 16.1 when he matures. He has nice long legs and forearms, a slightly uphill back, great work ethic and fun personality.
He has had some ground work with long lines and has been ponied on trails. He does wonderful, no matter what is asked of him.
He gets along with other horses and animals, trailers, bathes, stands for farrier, etc.
Nico is a very kind, affectionate and sensitive horse. He's the first to call to me each morning and when he's in the pasture with his friends, he stops what he's doing to come see me.
He would be a wonderful friend and companion as well as excell in dressage. Nico has a gorgeous canter, which is often difficult for Friesians. He does this with ease.
I call him my 'little boy in a big boy's body'. Young at heart.
He will be eligible to for star this fall and expect him to do well. His value will increase after the keuring in September.
