Nico goes to Houghton College

On June 2 & 3rd, Nico was ridden by Dooder Luce for Eddo Hoeksfro at Houghton Equestrian Center . This was Nico's first real "field trip" and he did very well.

Eddo commented on Nico's wonderful disposition, conformation and heart. He looks forward to working with him again.

Then, on July 11 & 12th, Nico was again ridden by Dooder Luce, but this time for Walter Zettl (for the long list of Walter's creditials and talents, go to http://www.houghton.edu/equestrian/zettl.htm ).

Walter had only praise for Nico and called him a "fabulous Warmblood." Since I was not able to attend this lesson, his new owners, Sandra and Jeff Keppel, were gracious enough to send me a DVD of his lesson.  He moved beautifully!  What a treat to see him do so well and have such high regards from such an established trainer.

I look forward to seeing Sandra riding him now, as Nico will be heading back home to PA soon. Dooder has done a terrific job with him.
