Since Sept. 2009, I have not updated my website. When my two dogs, Milo and Otis, were stolen from our home....after returning from the excitement of the keuring...it seemed to change my focus.
For the past months...my new job has been searching for my boys. I can only hope, who has them...is caring for and loving them like they were here.
Now...as Spring is fast approaching, work needs to be done. Wiepy is due to have her foal in April. This will be the only foal we have this year. She is bred to ISF stallion, Meinse.
As for the results for 09 keuring:
Theron (Feitse X Heinse) , my 4 yr old stallion, was presented. He managed to have a major growth spurt just before the inspection. Of course his back end was an inch higher than the front end! He was not rated, and just needs to mature some more.
Elsa (Feitse X Ulbert), my 09 filly, was presented. She was SO fit and did a beautiful job in the arena. She was rated 2nd premie, GRAND CHAMPION!!
I was very proud, as always, of my horses. They traveled, camped out for the night in New Castle, PA., strutted around in front of a bunch of strangers with strange horses, traveled back home (despite some trailers problems)...yet, they all did it like champs!!
We will look forward to this fall's keuring and bringing this Spring's new foal. Stay tuned!!
